Brand: whirlpool Model Number: Wtw4616fw2 Main Symptom: fails to enter spin automatically What happens & when: skips spin cycle during wash. Solid green light stuck on “wash”. Will not rinse & spin. Will drain and spin when selected. When washing heavier load (towels) will complete cycle almost normally (towels still wetter than usual). Other loads just stop after draining.

It would be recommended to get the tech sheet out and put the unit into service diagnostics mode to see if there are any error codes that are there. The error code will help determine what may be going on.
Thanks for the reply. I’m getting an F8E1 error Code, “No fill, Long fill”. I do notice an issue where you hear the water fill at extremely low pressure, as if something were restricting the water…but then it suddenly starts flowing fine again. This also only happens with cold water, which explains why the towels will complete a load when using Hot water. Confirmed no obstructions. Water flows freely. What are your thoughts?
If it sounds like the water is diminishing while filling then check to make sure that the screens on the valve are not clogged up. If they are then try to clean them out. If this does not correct the issue then the water valve would be the most likely cause for this issue.
