Hi,
I have a Whirlpool Duet that is stuck in sensing mode. The dryer runs but never leaves sensing mode or heats up. I tried replacing the heating element and that didn’t help. What do I try next?

Before you go farther and spend more money my question is do you own or have access to an electric multimeter? It is wise to test parts for failure before replacing them. You can obtain a decent one cheap from a place like harbor freight tools.
If you have one test each of the thermostats and thermal fuses for continuity. If they all check out ok then your electronic control board is likely bad…

I do and have already checked all of those parts for continuity. My next step was to try replacing the moisture sensor wire harness but I’m worried that it’s the control board like you said.
