Main Symptom: broken actuator tab
What happens & when: Can’t compact without this

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Mounted new actuator. White button on compactor itself is depressed when the new pedal/actuator is mounted. When I attempt to close the compactor door, the compactor motor automatically turns on, even though I didn’t step on the pedal yet to activate the compacting cycle. Not sure what is going on and need some help.

Check the start switch to make sure that it is not stuck in the closed position. If it is then the start switch will be the issue.
