Whirlpool temp. sensor reisitance?

I just replaced the temperature sensor on a whirlpool oven and would like to know what the resistance reading on it should be. Thanks.

Msbee,

The oven temperature should have a resistance reading of 1050 to 1100 ohms at room temperature(100 dgrs or less). It’s best to test the resistance at the connector on the ERC/Clock(you test the complete circuit, that way).

The resistance changes,as the temperature increases,
At 200 dgrs. the resistance would be 1350 ohms
At 350 dgrs. the resistance would be 1650 ohms
At 400 dgrs. the resistance would be 1750 ohms

We hope this helps you out.

Msbee,

Great, Glad to hear we were able to assist, that’s what we’re here for.

Thanks,
