Whirlpool refrigerator not producing ise

Main Symptom:Ice Maker is not making ice
What happens & when:When the icer maker calls for water, water shoots out around the top water tube on the back of the refrigerator and no water is put in the ice maker. Water is dipensing through the door normally.
