Tonight my 5yo Whirlpool electric freestanding oven decided to quit working. Neither the broiler element, the bake element OR the “oven on” indicator light will come on. Is there a fuse (some googled info said some ovens have them)? The stove TOP elements work fine and the light inside the oven comes on. I checked the outside breakers (even tho that didn’t make sense to me since the other things on the stove have power). It’s just strange to me that BOTH elements stopped at the same time so I don’t think the elements themselves are the problem. Help please.
Here are your parts

I am assuming that everything looks normal re: the oven does not show that it is ready as soon as you program it.
Sounds like the oven control (Item 6 in Section 2) is toast.
There is no fuse/breaker for the oven elements.
Click on it’s picture and a new page will open with a Q&A which may be helpful.

Thanks for you quick response. At $126.00 I will have to wait a couple of paychecks to order! The schematic you sent explains why the indicator light and both elements won’t come on but the stove top elements and the interior oven light do. I will post a result when I get that part and install it. Thanks again! Cheri
