Whirlpool Model KHMS145KSS0, door handle broken. I have the “exploded” door view, and I purchased the handle PS556624. Need to know how the door comes apart to access the handle screws from inside. I removed 3 screws at the open end of the door frame… these are the only screws visible. Seems as though the door is supposed to “snap” together, possibly held with small plastic tabs that might break if forced. How does this assembly come apart without breaking something?

After removing three screws from the side of the door I couldn’t tell how or where it came apart. I followed the thread as you requested and the description of using a butter knife (or similar non-sharp item) was perfect. I used the knife to pry around the door face and it popped right off (exposing the handle screws). The new handle was on in less than a minute. Thank you so much for the help![/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE]

how to replace door handle in kitchenaid KHMS 155L SSO Serial # TR P 28 22055 Must I remove the entire door to gain access to the 2 screws that hold the handle? Please help, I am desperate. Many thanks.
