Whirlpool Gas Range top Igniter not work

Hello, I have a Whirlpool Gas Range but the top 4 stoves cannot ignit, so everytime we cook, we have to used the lighter and turn on the gas then it will light on. My question is it my igniter dead, no lick lick sound when we turn the notch to ignite , and how do I replace it. Thx

You probably have a bad spark module.[part]AP3672576[/part]

Where is that located and it is easy to replace, because my wife kept threating to buy a new stove oven, but we are broke, if u can help greatly appreciated. THx u

It’s in the control panel (part #5 in this diagram). It looks like it’s plug-N-play.

I have (had) the same problem with my Magic Chef.
Just went to find the model number by pulling stove away from the wall.
Pushed it back in and I don’t know why but I tried it again and it started working. Now I don’t know what the problem is or was but I’am sure it will happen again. Got lucky…for awhile anyhow.

Check the integrity of your power cord, and its physical connection to the range.
