Hello, I have a Whirlpool gas dryer WGD555osq0. It stopped heating up. It would light and stay lit for 4-5 minutes and then go out. Cleaned the vent and then I replaced the coils. It dried 2 loads without a problem. Today when I went to use it dryer would light but only stay lit for about 10 seconds. It keeps clicking…lighting and going out. Looking for suggestions on what to replace next. Thanks in advance for any help!
with what you’ve replaced it could be your main board fouling out or an operating thermostat fouling out thinking it’s overtemp…watch some youtube video’s on gas dryers that should help you narrow it down.
