Whirlpool Fridge not making ice, even after replacing ice maker

Brand: Whirlpool Fridge
Model Number: ED5FHAXVBOO
Main Symptom: Ice maker not making ice.
What happens & when: Original ice maker stopped dispensing ice even though the ice cube maker portion had ice in it (like the plastic fingers would not turn to push out the ice).

Error Code (if any): N/A
Parts or tests already tried: AP3182733

I purchased part AP3182733 and installed it. It created about 5-6 cycles of ice and then quit cycling ice even though it had ice in the cube maker portion.

I used a multimeter and got the following results:

With the new part unplugged, I read 34.9V between the green and black wires going to the fridge.

With the part plugged in, I measure 0.00v across N-L on the part.

With the part plugged in, I measure about 75ohm across H-L.

Please help!

When you were testing voltage at the ice maker harness, did you have the ice level sensor door taped or held down? If not, do that and recheck your voltage readings from black to white and black to green.

And when you replaced the ice maker did you also replace the ice maker harness WP2187467?

No change in voltage across black-green when the ice level sensor door is held down (and optics eyes are not blocked). I do see on the ice controller board a red light that flashes 2 times, pauses, then repeats. Maybe a bad optics that thinks the freezer is always full of ice so it isn’t making more? I think I will try replacing the control board.

That 2 blink code could very well signify a failure of the ice level sensor boards. Those boards come together as part # W11629974.

Replacing the ice level sensors fixed the issue.
