I am getting F20 error on my washer. Initially it only occurred when using warm or hot water. I changed the inlet solenoid valve, cleaned out the front area under the large rubber deflector and cleaned the pump filter. I also replaced the pressure switch tubing. The problem stopped for awhile but is now returning constantly. Any other ideas?
How can I verify if my pressure switch is working without ordering a new one?
Thanks in advance
Diagnosing an intermittent problem is difficult because you usually cannot duplicate the problem. So it’s probably not the pressure switch, but to make sure go ahead and replace it.
If it is not the problem and you have ordered from this site you can return it.
Thanks for the reply, Is there any electrical troubleshooting I should be doing as well - to look for a control card issue or something else?
I changed the pressure switch and still get the F20 - any ideas on replacing control cards?
If water hot/warm is not entering the tub and then the f20 code appear it is likely the main control unit is the problem, and if water is entering then it is likely the main control board is the problem so I would try changing out the main control board.
Again if you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.
If that does not fix things, let us know and tell us if hot/warm water is or is not entering the machine.
