Hello,
My washer shuts off at random times during any cycle.
Ran diagnostics and error history shows F28 3 times.
Machine cannot complete the diagnostics testing (shuts off when it gets to “sanitary” position.
I have pulled the front cover off and inspected the drain filter (clear) and ground wire (ok)
I removed the top cover and reseated the connectors on the Computer Control Unit, but the problem persists.
Is there other testing I can do to determine the source of the problem?

The Duets are very difficult to diagnose, even Whirlpool techs have a lot of trouble and what they often end up doing is changing out parts until they get a new set in the machine and it works.
If the diagnostics will not complete the process this suggest the main control unit. The door lock assembly can also fail and give a bunch of unrelated error codes so those are the areas you want to concentrate on.
If you start replacing parts and buy from this site you can return them if they do not solve the problem.
