Hi, I dried clothes all day and on the last load when I hit the start button it made a crunching, clicking sound and then I smelled something burning/melting The dryer will not turn on at all now. Even tried changing the cycles to no avail. I opened it up and the belt is intact. Bought a book for $20.00 which told me absolutely nothing. Can someone please help me answer this question on how to fix the dryer. Laundry awaits :slight_smile:

Hi Elaine,

Remove the top panel (a few screws on the back) and inspect all wires. Visually inspect all control boards for a burned spots. Post the results.

Remove the toe panel and look for the Tech sheet.
