I would check that the belt is OK.
Also the belt switch and the thermal fuse.

i ran it through the diagnostic cycle and received 2 codes:F- 2 and F-25 but i also got a code that i couldnt find in the manual:L-2? have no idea what that means. the drum turns with some resistance which would lead me to think the belt is ok. all the panel lights come on but the drum never starts nor does the heat as far as i could tell. im no expert but im starting to think maybe some kind of fuse or safety cut out that blew for whatever reason…2 down pillows were dried on extra low but we could smell a burnt odor that seemed to come from the pillows…maybe over heated and blew something out? thanks for replying

Check the thermal fuse, shown in Figure 9 on Page 8 of the tech sheet. Also listed as test # 4b.

I do not know why you are getting weird error codes that do not relate to one another.

I got the same codes. I replaced the thermal fuse, installed the thermal kit, installed new door switch. Still will not start. I checked the motor resistance and it was good. Did you get your dryer to work? If so, let me know what you did.

no I never figured it out…ended up replacing it. As near as I could figure from the codes the parts were to much given the age of the dryer. I will never ever buy another touch pad appliance. I knew they were nothing but trouble when I thought about it but I bought it anyway. You cant replace a part it most cases…you have to replace a circuit board. Got a hard to find mechanical dryer nearly the same size and if ..or when it breaks they are usually a piece of cake to fix.

Thanks to this forum and the parts section, I was able to repair my dryer. I now feel like I can build my dryer from the ground up. The lint screen was badly insufficient. I replaced the user interface and that solved the problem for me. I did install new power plug, thermal fuse, inlet thermistor, exhaust thermistor and cleaned the heck out of it. It runs like new. Total cost was $140.
