I need to know how to access the door switch assembly to replace it. Is there a simple way to access it by taking off a panel. If so, what is the best way to do that??
Remove the filter then the 2 phillips screws up in the filter housing so you can pop the top. Next get a putty knfe and fanagle the spring clips holding down the top. Then get the 2 screws off that hold the front on. IMPORTANT: raise up 2 inch’s on the panel to get it off. The lid switch can now be dealt with.![]()

Model # would be helpful.
you have to take the top control face off, screws ontop-which are hard to see because it is a stacking unit. the control face comes foward/slumped open and then you can see to switch location.
i see that i now need to have the vent cleaned also.
it cost me 163.oo plus i bought the part… so much for do it myself.
