Hi,

My Whirlpool ADG8517/1 IX often malfunctions and has the code F3. Sometimes it does wash, but more often than not it gets stuck at 0:41 and then becomes F3. The wash inside is either soapy or completely unwashed with the pod still stuck in the dispenser.

It only finishes the cycle 100% at 40 degrees quick wash.

Will changing the temperature sensor solve my problem?

The F3 error code indicates a heat circuit issue.
You will need to test the heating circuit: the element, the sensor to ensure they are good and operating. If these are not the issue the control may not be sending power to the heating circuit.
