the washer has a digital board which will not come on therefore cannot turn it on replaced the elec control unit but was not the problem anything else i could check
Since you did not post a model number I am assuming you have the basic Calypso. There was some changes in the part, see this listing.
If you have it connected ok, check to see if power is getting to the board.
Here is a service manual for the Calypso which may help.
Make sure all your contacts are clean and well seated.
If all checks out your interface board may be the problem.
