The washer won’t complete a wash cycle. It displays a UL fault. I tried finishing the cycle without anything in it and I still get a UL fault. I went into diagnostic mode and there are F51 and F82 fault codes in memory. Also I can’t power on the machine at times. Any ideas or is it time for a new washer?
the f51 error code indicates the rotor positioning sensor at motor. i doubt this is the problem. check at the control board for secure wiring. whirlpool had a lot of trouble with the control boards and were replacing them free of charge at one time. i would call whirlpool consumer relations about replacing the board. if not you can check price of one at **************.com.
