Whirlpool AWM 328 washing machine wont go through cycle

This has been stood in the garage for about a year, It was working fine when it was stored, but now when i have come to power it up and run it…

1: i swtch on… set it on program 1
2: Set the temp and Spin
3: Press Start

when i have started it it takes in a little bit of water then just stops.

on other programs just does the same

ANy help would be appreciated

I cannot get this model to come up, and have not worked on it but your symptoms sound like a lid switch or door/out of balance switch got stuck while it was in storage.
