This is a gas range. When I push it to broil and hit start it clicks but won’t ignite. When I try to get error codes I hit bake and clock 5 sec and nothing happens. Oven works fine. A day later I tried it and it worked. Today I tried it and it’s back to not working. Anyone have any clue to why this is happening?
I replaced my bake ignitor and still have the same problem, I am now going to test the gas valve/ regulator and see if I get the correct resistance. It could be that one of the solenoids are bad and I need to replace the gas valve/regulator. Hope this helps

You can find some useful information in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/13139-whirlpool-oven-wont-heat-up.html
If you need more specific instructions, post the complete model numbers of your ranges.

The model is SF380LEPQ2, I’m going to try your suggestion about the gas valve. My problem is when the oven is set broil or bake it is not working. When it is set to broil, I can hear the igniter click and smell a small amount of gas, but on bake, the oven does nothing.
Ok I ohmed them bake or bottom term measured 202. The top or broil is open. Can just one go bad because what I have read say’s if one is bad niether will work. The oven works fine just the broiler is out?
Check the gas valve/regulator and post the result.

If you are sure the readings you posted are accurate, the gas valve/regulator has to be replaced.

Sounds like the valve/regulator is the culprit.
