Whirlpool 465 Range door trim kit

How do I install the 3 piece trim kit on the gas range door. It was removed by someone else. I put the bottom peice on but can not get the side peices between the glass at the top of the door and the door handle peice.

Greg,

Here are the instructions from the service manual.

    4. Remove the three bottom screws from the
    door liner.
  4. Lift the liner assembly off the front glass
    and set it aside.
  5. To remove the door handle, unhook it
from the top of the front glass and remove
    the two door handle screws.

the two side trim screws. Be careful not to
break the trim near the mounting screw.

Hope this helps,

The trim is already off of the door. Only the bottom trim and the top peice / handle remain on the door. How do I install the 2 new side trim peices. Do I have to take the door off the range and take it all apart as you stated below. Do you have any diagrams ? Thanks!

Greg,
Do you have the two screws that hold the side trim pieces on the frame ?

It’s probably best if you Do dismantle the door, or at least loosen everything.

The best I can do, for now is send you a copy of the service manual.

Refer to page 4-22 / pg 50.
