Westinghouse dryer buzzing no start

Timer buzzes when start is pushed drum is free to turn/ timer or thermal fuse?? need diagram

You don’t need no diagram. Unplug the dryer, and we need to pop up the top. So slide a putty knife under the top about 4 inches from the end on the right side, and you will hit a clip, that will release the top on that side. Do the same on the other side. Then lift the top up, and rest it on the back wall, and then look inside the dryer, up top in the back on the right, close to the right corner, and that is where the thermal limit switch is. If you want to take the 2 wires off, and put the terminal ends together, and then wrap tape around them to keep them together, and so they don’t hit metal. So, basically we are jumping the switch out. Then plug the dryer in and see if it works. If so… DO NOT RUN the dryer with the limit switch jumped out. This is for testing reasons only.
