Water tank cracking leaking on ge ref

Main Symptom: CRACKING water tank 3x / no water dispensing
What happens & when:no water dispensed. Water poring out fresh compartment door due to Tank split. I’ve replaced water tank 3x. Thinking replacement was defective. Last one split while trying to get water dispensed right after install its was NOT FROZEN. I have put hot water up spout on dispenser think could be iced up. But can’t explain why tanks splitting. House water pressure hasn’t changed

If they are not freezing up, then there has to be a defect in the part, maybe a bad batch. high water pressure would not an issue.
