Water pooling below crispers even after drain pan and line is cleared

Cleared drain line and drain pan(trough) from freezer, tested if water flows freely and water flows fine from pan to evaporator at the base of unit and still have water accumalating below crispers inside the unit.

No frost or ice buildup. Tubes appear to be aligned properly or my test of running water through the system would have failed. The water test worked fine as the water ended up at the evaporator basin and not below the crispers.

I am perplexed. I can not imagine the defrost heater or mullion heater is failing or there would be ice or frost buildup.

This model has no ice maker.

Mine was doing the same thing. Trough drain had a rust hole right next to the drain hole which allowed water to drain into fridge compartment.

Thanks-A repairman stated that I will not be able to replace the drain assembly as GE no longer manufactures it. But I go on the GE website and see that a “drain trough” appears availalbe. When I stated this to the repairman he states that that is not the part but I need a large galvanzied piece that runs vertically down the back of the unit?

The parts diagram shows a drian trough connectcing to the drain tube running down the back of the unit. What am I missing in this scenario?

You should try blocking the drain trough & carefully pour water in the trough then u should see where the water is leaking from:cool:
