What is the model number of your appliance and is there an indication of where the water might be coming from (such as freezer, fresh food section, or from behind the appliance)?

Water coming from left freezer side. Hard to tell where it coming from. Doesn’t make ice nor do I hear anything from the ice maker. I noticed that the light doesn’t come on anymore when we open the freezer door side.

From what I see, the ice maker should receive 120 Volts AC directly from the power cord. With this being the case, the water might be a separate issue from the ice maker if the ice maker is not going through a harvest cycle. Do you see water/ice on the bottom of the freezer? Also, what temperature is the freezer reaching when verified with a thermometer?

There is water on the floor and ice on the bottom of the freezer side. I’ll have to get back you about the temporary

Temperature sorry my phone

While checking the temperature, it would be worthwhile to check at the back near the evaporator section. If there is ice at the back on the bottom of the evaporator cover, the defrost drain is clogged and would need to be cleared. The easiest method I have found is using a turkey baster to cycle hot water onto the ice to clear it all the way through the drain port.

So to check the defrost drain plug I would have to remove the back panel on the freezer side? I’m not sure exactly where the drain plug is located?

The drain port would be located directly under the evaporator.
