Water Inlet Valve

Hello,

I replaced my water inlet valve yesterday (PN 8531669). My dishwasher was blinking the light on the start button 7 times which pointed to the valve.

After changing the valve, I cleared the error code and started a load. The washer began it’s cycle, I am still hearing a loud hum when it first starts to cycle. Then that goes away and it sounds normal. But after checking it a few times, I noticed there was still no water in the washer EXCEPT for a thin pool at the bottom. The sides of the washer and dishes are bone dry still after an hour but there was steam coming out when I opened the door.

Any suggestions?

Oh yea I forgot to mention. The washer is connected to a tankless water heater which has gone bad. Meaning no hot water is going to the washer. Could that be the problem?
