When selecting a water level to fill the washer the water continues to flow non-stop. What may be causing this. Also what is a capacitor? ![]()

If when you turn the washer off the water stops flowing you either have a bad water level switch or the tube that run from the tub to the switch may be clogged, broken or just off.
