Water doesn’t work at door but ice does

When you press the water dispenser, do you hear the valves hum at all?

Yes, I believe there is a slight hum. (I’m doing this for a friend so I’m learning the details as we go lol)

If the left door is opened, there is an access panel on the bottom inside of the door that can be removed. This will expose the dual water valve and water tank. The tubing at the white collar and the orange collar can be removed and the valve mounting screws removed. This will allow a flow test to be done. Place a refrigerator magnet on the door hinge cover close to the inner corner to activate the door switch. Aim the valve into a cup and briefly press the dispenser. Does water go into the cup?
