Water dispenser leaking

Our water dispenser has a slow leak. It drips from below the bottom trim piece. It has recently begun to form condensation spots on the door panel.

Photo attached. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Is it dripping from the water line above the tray that’s shown in the picture?
If yes, it’s going to need a new water valve (behind fridge).
If no, it sounds as if the water line inside the door has a leak. That would be bad news.

Let us know.

The water is coming out from behind the bottom of the black panel. It now looks like it’s the valve itself, photo attached. The bottom drip pan was full and overflowing. Easy to replace? Thanks for the reply!

To me it looks like the line in the door is busted. Perhaps it froze in the line at some point causing the line to break.

This isn’t for your exact model or even your brand for that matter, but this is the rough idea of what’s involved with replacing that line.

Thanks. I think I’ll replace this part first:

Looks easy! I’ll let you know if it stops the leak.

Yep, you and I think alike. I’d start there and keep my fingers crossed.

I’d be curious to know the outcome.

Good luck!
