Washing machine won't spin

I have a Whirlpool, model #LSR8244EZ1, top load, Imperial, 8-cycle, 2-speed washer. Was doing laundry and heard a bang when the machine went into the spin cycle. After that couldn’t get the tub to spin. Thank you in advance for your help.

Remove the washer cabinet
