washing machine overflows

i did a little troubleshooting on the water level switch and found out that if i blow on the clear tube going in to the wls i can hear a clicking sound and the washing cycle start if i stop blowing into the tube the washer starts filling again .when i was blowing into the tube i was manually moving the timer dial to drain or rinse or spin ,but none worked would the water level switch cause the other functions to stop working? please help i need to wash my clothes. thanks:mad: by the way i have replaced the timer, pump, water inlet valves.

From your description it appears your water level switch will not work when the air pressure is from filing the tub. It works when you blow on it because you are giving it more pressure than the tub would. If the water pressure switch does not tell the timer the tub is full, the time will not advance and will continue to try to fill the tub.

I think if you replace the water level switch your problem will be fixed.

Let us know how it works out.
