I have an LG washing machine that will not get hot water. I’ve checked the water coming in from the wall to make sure it’s hooked up properly. I have cleaned the screens. I’ve done some other troubleshooting.

If the back panel of the console is removed, the hot water valve can be tested for voltage during a fill cycle. When the washer is set to a hot water wash, the solenoid with an orange wire and a blue wire attached should receive 12 Volts DC. Does voltage reach the valve or does voltage only go through to the solenoid with the yellow and blue wires?
