When the washer completes it cycles and shuts off , water continues to go into the washer and the water valve hums. Is this a timer issue ? Thanks Steve
Does the water stop if you unplug the machine? If so, then it is probably a timer issue but check the water level switch by blowing into it and hearing if it goes click.
