Main Symptom: replaced the control board and when plugged in all LED lights flash indicating the personality ID is not set up. When you press start for any length of time and follow instructions to reset ID nothing happens and when you release the start button all the light turn off and will not come back on until you unplug and then plug back in.

What was the original reason for replacing the control, just wanting to make sure I don’t need to be looking for something else going on?
What ID # are you trying to set? Should be 6, again just making sure.
The original issue was is that you could not change cycles for the washer and at times it would not respond to any buttons being pressed. That is why we order a new control panel.
With the new control panel installed - when you plug the machine in, all the lights flash which is good. Then you push and hold start and turn dial 180 deg which should allows the ID to be set nothing happens on the display and when you release the start button, all the lights turn off. So not sure what the issue is or how to go around it to enter the ID which should be 6 to set the new panel.
Will it let you into consumer mode? If it does, will it let you change/enter the personality code on test 17?

Not it will not let me into that mode! Not sure what is going on with it or how to troubleshoot it now.
Ok, try programming it using these instructions I’m attaching. If that doesn’t work you’ll need to contact our customer service team @ 1-877-477-7278 to arrange for a defective board replacement, in which case you can reference this thread.

Good afternoon-
We were able to have a new part sent out and installed it today. Unfortunately, the same thing happened with this control board. Installed, followed the directions to enter the washer ID number and the LED went dark. Control panel becomes inactive after you push start to stop the flashing LED’s. Once the LED’s go dark, the control panel does not respond to any button pressed. Only after unplugging it and then plugging it back in allows the LED’s to come back on, which starts the same process over again. Any assistance with this would be much appreciated to resolve this issue.
