Washer won't fill on rinse cycle

My washer runs fine but when it comes to the rinse cycle it just continually drains, it never fills. All other cycles run great!:confused:

It is possible that the motor is running in neutral mode and operating the pump but the most likely problem is that you have created a siphon in the drain hose where it goes into the discharge pipe. It is either in too low or it is sealed off so that air cannot get into the drain pipe.

thanks for the heads up. just replaced my timer (it was easy…tip though search for the part on amazon I found it 50 dollars cheaper) but after putting it together It wasn’t filling for the rinse cycle…turns out i pushed the machine too far in and to the left and kinked the hose…I was seconds away from calling my appliance guy..:slight_smile:

This just saved my butt. We moved into a new house and our washer would continually pour water in that immediately drained out. We thought we damage our washer in the move, repair guy charged me $225 to fix my timer and it didn’t help. I was about to go buy a new washing machine until I saw this, pulled the drain hose back about 6 inches–problem solved!!!
