I have a Whirlpool Cabra washer. The lid randomly unlocks and never locks again. It continues to run through the cycle but doesn’t complete it. It seems like it goes through each phase but doesn’t actually do it. It will drain at the end but doesn’t spin. Once I noticed the FINISHED light is on, I can select spin and drain and then it does both perfectly. The odd thing is that if I catch it during every cycle and pause and Unpause it, that phase of th cycle wo Hey is perfectly, but it will unlock the next phase and does the same thing. I’ve replaced the lid lock thinking that maybe be it and I’ve “reset” the motor and it’s still doing it. Help please!
Sounds like the CCU (computer control unit) needs replaced.
