This washer is stopping in the latter part of the wash cycle and will not do anything at that point except you can hear a buzz from inside. The door is locked since water is in the tub. I pulled the drain hose off of the back and drained the water. The door latch released at that point. The machine was restarted at the beginning of the wash cycle and worked fine until the latter part of that wash cycle with the same end result. This washer is not at my house so I cannot observe all details but I am told that this is happening during a drain cycle.
Can anyone assist with the diagnostics.

OK. I hope this helps someone. I got into the machine today. Somehow a piece of metal made its way into the pump from the tub. This metal chunk locked up the pump and that was the reason for the buzzing. Removed pump and cleared same. Machine is working fine now. Funny thing is that there was a nickel in hose beyond the pump on the output side of same. I guess some things will clear the pump and others will not.
