The maytag Atlantis, model MAV6200AWW has a new washer drain pump assembly part # wp35-6465 installed from appliance parts pros. The machine now squeaks ONLY during the rinse drain and spin cycles. Is it possible this new part has a defective bearing?

Check the thrust bearing to make sure that it is good and check to make sure that there is not a belt issue. If these are good then it is possible that the pump has bad bearings.

thrust assembly and belt are new. Pump from appliance pros is new. Hub nut and snubber ring are new. It still squeaks. Transmission is also new. Transmission is labeled as an HT. Is it possible the new HT trans has more torque than the old one causing the squeaking?
