I have a whirlpool ultimate care ii washing machine that came with the house I bought, it seems to be in great condition, except tonight I was doing laundry, and I came home and it was shut off. The lid switch was acting funny, so I popped it apart and jumped it, wrapped it in tape for a bit, and it started working, however a little later it did the same thing.
I’m wondering if it’s either the switch, or maybe the control knob/timer? It seems to always shut off at the exact same spot, and I pulled it very hard and pushed it back in, and it started working, but I’m not sure it’s just a coincidence.
What do you guys think?
