My washer if overfilling. It is not stopping the water flow into the tub.
Research has shown me that the pressure hose that goes to the switch on the panel may be clogged. I blew through the hose with an air compressor.
The switch appears to be working because if I blow on it with my mouth the washer stops filling with water and starts agitating. It does not take much pressure at all to blow and activate the switch. I also blew with the compressor from the hose down into the compartment on the tub the hose hooks to. I didn’t see a clog or anything come out.
I think the switch is working because if I blow on the hose it stops the water.
Is there anything in the little side compartment on the tub that sends the air pressure through the tube? Like a float or something? With the hose off, water is coming out of the compartment as the tub fills up (shooting out of the barb where the air hose fits onto the compartment). I’m not sure if that is supposed to happen or not.
