I got a used washer and it works perfectly BUT the 3 prong plug is missing the round GROUNDING prong on the plug.
Do I need to REPLACE IT?
Also, the separate dryer unit uses a regular 120V 3 prong plug and the WASHER plug would not be able to go into the SAME outlet (standard outlet). The DRYER uses 120 V 15 amp 3 prong (regular) plug.
Is there a way to get a 3 prong plug for the WASHER that has the cord sticking UPWARDS or SIDEWAYS so that I can use the same outlet?
Any ideas or suggestions?
