Our Estate washing machine started leaking from the bottom front area. I only noticed it after a load was done. It didn’t appear to leak while washing or filling only during the draining cycle. The leak is worse now and although cycle seems done, you can shake machine and tell there is still water inside but you can’t see water in the tub. It finally drains out but takes 3-5 minutes and puddle of water gets bigger. Do you think it might be the pump? And how hard is it to repair ourselves?
Most likely the problem is a bad water pump. In order to access the part you have to remove the washer cabinet. The disassembly instructions are attached to the reply.
