Hi.

Have you checked the part number according the serial number?
If the serial number of the washer starts from 10 to 73 - use the 22002994, if 74 and up - use 22003728.

Thank you.

Yes, the serial number of the washer starts with 10. and both those part #'s appear to be the same switch and have no provision for the ground wire.
although there are 2 extra tabs in the main connect of both parts, can I hook the grounds up to those post, by putting them into the wiring harness? or can I just leave the ground wires off and install the switch as is?
thanks for any help

since there is no info anywhere on how to install this switch? I just went ahead and installed it, and left the ground wires off (since there is no tab for the ground wires, anywhere). I fired up the machine and so far all is good. the washer fills and drains normally. so I guess the new switch does not need to be grounded??! we will see how it goes from here all is working fine for now.

Per the wiring diagram (last page of the Tech sheet), the ground somehow should be connected to the body of the switch. The wires should be connected: gray - terminal 11, yellow - term 12, blue - term 31 and brown - term 32.
