Replace the gearcase, W11454741 Washer Gear Case | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock, there are no separate bearings in the tub, just the gearcase

I need to change the entire gearcase to fix it? I looked it up and I see a bearing kit for whirlpool washers (my washer is made by Whirlpool). Can I just run it like this until it dies?

By the way, you need to look at your model; there is no bearing kit, it has a seal but no tub bearings. The noise that may sound like a bearing is the gearcase.
