14 month old GE washing machine.. will fill and agitate then drain and just get stuck there will not move on to spin or rinse and final spin cycle unless I move timer by hand to colors setting spin and rinse. will not spin at all on whites or perm press… is it possible timer assembly has gone in those 2 positions only?? if so HOW??.. any help would be greatly appreciated as I am so tired of appliances today, 2nd washer in 7 years when my first GE lasted 15 years.. the bought pile of junk maytag that broke in 13 months of course out of warranty then had problems about every 14 months until the transmission finally went new years day 2014… was hoping I would get longer than 14 months before a breakdown with this GE
I am not getting this model to come up, but it does sound like a timer problem.
If you buy from this site and the new timer does not fix things you can return it.
