So our washer decided it wants to fill up its basket with water when it is not turned on. I could hear water going into the machine back by the water inlets on the back panel. I shut the water supply off and I could not hear it. So somewhere water is has found a way to get into the basket. Has anyone had this happen? Is there a seal that has gone bad? Maybe a filter that needs to be cleaned? I am heading down to investigate it now but wanted to hear what others have to say.
Thanks Gene! After actually taking the lid off the washer and looking at it, that is pretty much what I thought. I did a search on here too and found that came up a lot. It is nice to hear someone else say that yeah that is probably what it is. I will get a new one and replace it, and report back on the outcome!
