Error message Sd for every load, there are no suds, we are using HE detergent with the correct amount. Someone suggested that it might be a mechanical function on drive mechanism not allowing the basket to engage. Is there anything we can try to do before this? If not, how do we go about doing this and is there a diagram of how dismantle?
This is a Whirlpool made Duet model, and diagnosing the problems are a challenge even for Whirlpool trained techs.
I have had some success changing out the water level switch so you might try that. If you cannot get a diagram of the machine from clicking on your model number you can go to the Sears Parts Direct cite. But if you buy the part from this site you can return it if it does not fix the problem. Also check out the tech notes that should be under the top cover or inside the lower service panel.
