Main Symptom: draining
What happens & when:goes through wash cycle fine, does the spin fine, starts to fill for the rinse and starts draining (drain motor running) continues for @10 min. or so and then the wash light turns on and everything stops

when I diagnose, all five lights (except locked light) blink twice

so the next code is sensing and wash light turn on and they turn off and the done light turns on and back and forth. then the next code is just the sensing light blinks
I tested and that seems to be working fine, and it does do the spin after the wash so…
i have a camera that I can put under the washer and watch the actuator, what should I be looking for?
The shift actuator should move the lever from the clutch assembly
yes I did watch it do that earlier (will it get stuck sometimes, just trying to figure out what to watch for), what do you think about the other codes? I don’t understand how to figure those out
ok, with both of those codes do you still think actuator? also what about the flashing sensor light (same as fill I believe)?
I feel like the pressure is fine, the only other thing I see would throw that code is the sensor tube?
Sensing light blinking means end of codes so you only have that long fill code
Really starting to suspect a valve ( W11210463 Washer Water Inlet Valve | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock ) issue on the cold water. Go to the manual test and run a test on both the cold and hot valves. I suspect water valve because it only occurs on rinse which only the cold valve. Make sure both have about equal flow
just a reminder, fills, washes,spins out fine. it drains right when it starts to fill for the rinse
fyi, I have noticed more noise from the cold relay but I see plenty of water flow, I will run that test as soon as a load of laundry is done, what I have been doing is if it drains on me, I just restart the wash cycle and the a drain/spin. I am getting by, but it is a lot of thinking

okay, this time it did everything fine, it is rinsing now. This intermittent stuff is a real pain

ok, both tested fine, the extra hum is in the hot water relay, but both are doing as expected
So I haven’t texted for a while because number one I did not realize. Only had so many texts, and we figured out that the washer works okay in normal mode. But heavy duty and other settings. It only goes through the wash cycle and does the drain thing where it starts the rinse cycle and starts draining. It’s been working okay in normal mode for several weeks now. Don’t know if that helps to figure out what’s going on
