Viking VSCB480 Freezer Door Shelf Bin - Discontinued - Please Help!

i have a viking vcsb480ss fridge (about 10 years old) that i have broken 2 of the freezer door shelf bins. i was told by viking that the part is discontinued and there is nothing to replace it.

in the attachment picture, the part i am looking for is part 20.

does anyone know where i might be able to find a replacement (maybe some repair shops keep extras of these things around, maybe a repair guy knows someone whos replacing an old viking and i can buy the bins)?

does anyone know of a different manufacturer that may fit the viking? like amana or kitchenaid or ???

there is nothing wrong with my unit other than the door bins being broken and i cant see spending another $7K to replace a fridge just for the door bins.

please help!

I have the same exact problem with the addition of the door shelf for the frig also falling apart. Were you able to find any replacement parts?

I also wonder if there is another frig part that may fit. I understand that model was based on a whirlpool or fridgidare and those parts may fit as well!?

My neighbor had similar issues with replacing the broken bins in his viking fridge. Plastic bins broke, viking didn’t carry them anymore. He used a place called vikingbins.com and has been pretty pleased
