Viking VGSO166 Wall Oven Buttion Replacement

**Brand: Viking
**Model Number:VGSO166
**Main Symptom: Button replacement and button question
**What happens & when: see below

Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot my Viking VGSO166 Oven. We had recently replaced a temperature probe and upon putting back all of the pieces, we have noted two things. First, we broken one of the buttons. The part number for button is PB010203. We have found a listing on ebay (OEM Viking PB010203 Appliance Pb010203 Clock Button PB010113 PB010115 PE110004BK for sale online | eBay) that suggests a PE110004 or PB010113 button may substitute for PB010203. I wanted to confirm that this is true.

The second question is as follows. We had to remove the buttons on the front panel to replace the temperature probe. Unfortunately, when we reinserted the buttons, some of them are now stuck in one position and are no longer “clicky.” Any thoughts on how to fix this? We pulled the buttons out and tried to re-insert them with no luck.

Thank you!

The substitute part of PB010203 would be correct. As for the button not clicky, you will need to double-check installation of the parts together. Improper installation would be the most likely cause for this.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Specifically, would a PE110004 button be a substitute for PB010203? Viking is able to confirm PB010113 would be, but they’re not able to confirm whether PE110004 would be or not.
